MQG's Charity Challenge

August 30, 2015 by

Our guild is participating in this year's challenge - to make a collaborative, improvised twin sized quilt using a pre-determined color palette. The completed quilt will be sent off to Quiltcon West and hung on display with quilts from guilds all over the country. When our quilt returns home, it will be donated to a local charity group.

Participating guild members were given fabric to take home and make some improv quarter log cabin blocks. These will be collected at our September meeting. Come to our Sew In on September 26th at Evergreen Quilting to help make some more blocks and piece this top, it's going to be fun!
