December's BOM

December's block of the month can be as easy or as difficult as you like! The only guidelines this month are that the block needs to be 12.5" square, and that you need to in some way use the fabric you received at November's meeting in your block! A big thank you to Judy Eades, for donating the fabric to us! Use any coordinating fabrics you'd like, and in any pattern you'd like. If you have any leftover fabric, or if you're unable to make your block, please bring your leftover fabric with your block.

October Meeting Minutes

October's meeting was filled with so many fun things!  You can read the minutes HERE.  Updates on the Crystal Quilter's showcase and the annual guild retreat were shared and we saw some great projects for Sew & Tell.  Members also revealed their creative inspiration from the Paint Chip Challenge using magazines!

At November's meeting we will be having a class on Zentangle drawing.  If you aren't familiar with Zentangle, click HERE to go to their website.  For the class, you will need to bring your own pens.  The instructor suggests Pigma Micron pens in sizes 01, 03, and 08.  You can also bring Sharpies or markers in fine, medium, and thick.

Membership dues for 2017 can also be paid at the November (and December) meeting.  Dues are $50 for each member.

Our Second Annual Retreat

Thanks to all who joined us for our second retreat. Sub par bunk beds didn't stop us from enjoying thanksgiving dinner, WIPs, starting yet another new project, awesome door prizes, great fabric shopping trips, lots of treats and making a new friend. We missed those of you who couldn't make it. Looking forward to more fun in 2017 with this great group of ladies!

November's BOM

November's block of the month is scrappy green stars on a low volume background - just a little something to get the holiday season going a little early. But I guess that since shops have had their Christmas decor out for several weeks at this point, it's really not that early!

September's Meeting

September seems to have come and gone so quickly!  At this meeting we started off our first gift for Secret Sisters and had a presentation by our very own Susan Isaacson!  She shared how to put your won creative touch to bags to make it your own style and along with other great information as well.  You can view all of the minutes from the meeting HERE.
